Happy New Year to you all!! So far, 2008 is starting off as a new start in many areas of our life. Today, my husband and I spent the day in our NEW HOUSE!! We found out on Christmas Day that we were going to be moving in This week for sure. This is something that he and I have been waiting on for a couple months now. This house is absolutely amazingly huge, with lots of room to spare. Its a start that our whole family needs. Since we moved here (the house we are currently in) it just seems like nothing but the worst of luck has befallen upon us; and tonight as we were just sitting there after a long day of painting, I told him that I thought this was going to be good for all of us.
I came up on the house while I was in the house working for the woman (I do home health care), and she was going to move and just give the house back to the owners that she was buying on land contract. Well, after talking with her and my husband, she agreed to let us just take over the payments and in 3 1/2 years the house would be paid for and she would sign the deed and all over to us. Because she has already paid on the house for a little over 2 years, so its mostly paid off.
My husband and I could not pass this up. The house is a huge 2 story home. There is atleast 3,000 Sq Ft. and it sits on 6 lots. We live in town so it is probably close to an acre of land. I am just so very very excited for our family and our kids.
Having a real house is something I have been wanting for a long time. We live in a double wide at the moment, which is a very nice house. But, when it comes to fixing or repairs, its hard to find the parts you would find standard for a house.
I have pictures of the house that I will upload in a folder soon, and you will be able to see all the before and after pics. :) YAY!! I am so excited!
