ICK...so yeah, last night I thought a bird flew past me about 1am while sitting here on the computer in my living room. OMG, and for me even thinking it was a bird freaked me out but still it was definately not a bird. And dont ask me why. I guess it was late and dark in the room when I finally checked to see what it was. The worst part is that I had to wait in the morning before I could call someone to get help with this thing...Now, I did try to lure it out of the apartment as it was by opening the sliding door to the balcony but this BAT, just wanted to stay where it was by hanging onto the inside of my shades where the balcony was. Well, this time of year, it was pretty cold outside so naturally this thing did not want to go outside...so I just had to close the door after awhile since even I was getting cold. Luckily, it did not harm the kids. A lady from the NEB Humane Society was able to pick it up from my apartment in the later morning but we certaintly dont have to worry about it anymore....but heres the pic I took from my phone of it.
