Imagine me smiling. Imagine me laughing at the silliest things. Imagine me crying. Imagine me walking. Imagine me running. Imagine me arguing. Imagine me praying for you. Imagine me loving. Imagine me dancing. Imagine me holding you.
Now stop.
Imagine if I was gone. Would you miss me? Imagine if you never knew me. Would your life be different? Imagine if you never saw my smile or heard me laugh. Would you miss it? Imagine if I never loved you. Would it matter? Imagine if I never prayed for you. Would your blessings be the same? Imagine if we never argued. Would you have felt the concern from me?
We never realize the importance people have in our lives until they are gone. We take for granted the smile as someone passes us in our path, or the laugh from a loved one. We never think about what if that person was never in our lives. Would we miss them? Would our life be easier or harder? Would there be a difference? Would you be happier or would you feel like there is something missing? If I were to disappear would you look for me? If I were gone would you cry or would you feel peace? I think about the prayers I pray for people, and I wonder does it help? I wonder if other people pray for me, and if it is working. I am grateful for every person I have met. I am grateful for every lesson learned. I am grateful for every laugh, smile, tear, and ache. I am grateful for my past and my present. I believe everything happens for a reason. This includes every person. God has a plan for each and every one of us. He sets us on a path and watches us walk. He watches us stray from our path and looks at the people we meet. He also places people on our strayed path that will help us get back on our path. So think about it. What would your life be like without me? What would other peoples lives be like without you? Make a difference in peoples lives. Even if it is just a smile. Show someone they matter.
