I realize how alone I am
wandering through life.
No one here to hold my hand
or calm me through my strife.
I long to sleep in love's warm arms
and wake to it's soft kiss.
Savor it's breath upon my skin
and feel the touch I miss.
Perhaps one day I'll find you
