They network here. They network there.
There seems to be networks everywhere.
So many prats who spend their time
Always chasing that elusive dime.
They network there. They network here.
Some chase deals, and others chase peers.
But if they sat and thought for a while
They'd realise they appear quite vile.
They network some, they ignore the rest
Coz they think they are chatting to already the best.
They think that the others are merely the scum,
But it's amongst those people most deals are done.
The wisest of networkers don't scurry around,
They just sit very quite till the opportunity is found.
This may take a week, a month or a year,
But until just such time, they simply sup beer.
There's networking here, there's networking there,
There seems to be networking everywhere.
So just use them wisely and do take great care
coz treating them badly will leave you quite bare!!
