I'M SORRY
I've been sitting here racking my brain-
Trying to find the words to explain-
There has to be some special way-
Some perfect words that I can say-
I'm sorry can't make up for the way-
I ruined your start to a lovely day-
I've tried so hard to hide my pain-
The endless tears that I cry-
With nothing to gain-
I must find a way to share with you-
Exactly what I'm going through-
But how can I make you see-
That which is a mystery to me-
Our love is all that gives me hope-
Together we can cope-
If I find a way to hide my pain-
And if I try real hard not to complain-
Can I bring the sunshine back again?
