I LEARNED
Isolated from the group,
Separated because of false judgement,
Judged solely on appearance,
No one bothered to look inside,
Inside deeper
Into what really matters.
Sitting alone in the corner
Alone,
With eyes constantly staring at her,
Staring as if the circus
Had come,
But no,
It was one girl.
We were a group of 30.
25 laughing,
5 observing.
Not one soul dared to speak,
Speak for what they believed
And in a way the 5,
One of which is me,
Were just as bad as the 25
Because we did nothing.
Nothing to stop the frequent teasing,
Because we were too concerned,
Concerned about our reputation.
I realized how selfish i had been.
I had acted in a way that I shall always regret,
But I cant change the past.
However, I can change the future,
A future where I can make different decisions.
