I had this dream once, you were there.
I remember because you took my hand. Why?
I don't know, I wasn't scared but you did anyway...
Holding my hand it was then that you showed me
a secret about you.
Knowing that, has changed my view of you to
such a different aspect.
It was something you must have kept hidden for so long cause you were scared to even tell me.
It was then that I realized you took my hand for your fear, for I had none.
It was your secret that frightened you in a way, I didn't know you could be so scared.
You always seemed so level headed when it came down to it.
But there you were terrified, to scared to do anything.
It was then you said to me, I remember, your lips quivering
as you leaned closer to me, your breath hanging in the night air... you said...
..... "I had this dream once, you were there..."
