Normally, I would use this time to start bitching about something or other. Well, maybe later. But not right this moment.
Now, I am a little saddened that a friend of mine, who was living right next door with her sister has moved further downtown. Not very far away, but because I rarely even leave my house anyway, that can seem like lightyears. The upside to this though, is that her sister still remains in residence next door, at least for a short time until she can sell the house, which will prove almost impossible as it is a hovel. No offense. I'll take pics. Anyway, back on subject, my friend is an avid Halo 2 junkie like myself. She plans to get her own Xbox and play with me across the internet. I currently own two boxes, each with their own Live account, so I can play in my office, wife/guest play upstairs, communicating by headset. We love the game, and believe that remaining vigilante in it will allow us to remain close.
I am seriously on the hook about giving up my cigarettes. For some reason the last three packs or so that I have smoked do not have the same pleasure and taste as I was used to. I've smoked for years, so I know it's a hard habit to break. Ah, the things we do for health. And, I am tired of tasting nicotine even when I don't want it.
Plus, I am getting a kick out of this whole OJ Simpson thing. If he gets out of this one, I am knocking a fuckin' gas station over the night he's aquitted. So far, now he's got strong-arm robbery, kidnapping, impersonating police, brandishing a weapon. Johnny C has GOT to be rollin' the fuck over right now.
And for the record, Mountain Dew's "Game Fuel" for the Halo 3 release, tastes like 3 different types of shit, mixed with 4 flavors of ass.
