My Aunt who is a Nun had to get all of her belongings ready to move from the home she has been living in for over twenty years in Mission, Kansas to The Mother House in Maple Mount, Kentucky!!! My mom helped pack things for a couple of days. They filled my Aunt's car with as much as they could and there was still a lot of her belongings left in the house that needed to be moved to her place in the garage for the movers to get later!!!!! Mom had to go back to work Friday and my Aunt had to leave for Kentucky at 8am on Saturday!!! Sooooooooo I went to help my Aunt on Friday.  She packed up her toiletries in her bathroom, then had to leave at 1:30 to meet with family she hadn't seen yet. I packed up all of her nick-nacks, two bookcases full of books and the rest of her personal belongings from her bedroom, office and family room. Her office chair threw me to the hardwood floor twice while packing up books in there!!! I moved all the boxes, I think there were around a dozen, to her side of the garage. I loaded my car with an extra large recliner, two end tables, a bookcase, a storage box of candles and stuff, a huge bag of linens, a six foot tall Mother-in-Law's Tongue plant and a few other smaller items that belonged to her but she gave, to me as she had to downsize with this move.  Then, I moved to her spot in the garage... a tall chest of drawers, a night stand, a small entertainment center, a tall bookcase, and an office desk. I did all of this in about six hours all by myself!!! The ONLY help I had was a four wheeled cart and there were three steps down into the garage. What made this even harder is the fact that I am a bilateral below the knee amputee and my artificial legs are no longer fitting well (new ones are in the process of being made for me now), so it is hard for me to walk!!! So if I seem a bit short, grumpy or even down right bitchy, it's because every single muscle, bone and even cell in my body is screaming out in agony, so loud I can't even hear myself think!!!! But I got it ALL done!!! I did it ALL by myself!!! I AM a PHENOMENAL AMAZING woman who can do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING I set my mind to do!!!
