Honor thy mother and father
Honor thy friends and family
Honor is what you make of it
It is not some set society rule that all must follow
Honor is you
Do you honor your actions?
Do you honor your words?
Do you practice your honor everyday, every minute?
Or do you forsake it for a moment's pleasure
Honor is asking yourself honestly if you could live the next day with what you are about to do
I live by my code of honor even if it means removing myself from my friends and family
I am true to myself which is what you must be before you can be true to another
Honor is not about hiding behind a mask or armor and fighting
Honor is about the core that is you
Swords and shields can defend and protect another's honor
But they can also sever the honor between the protector and his companion
If the honor is forsaken and abused by one or another
Do not judge lest ye be judged
The same can be said of honor
My code of honor is different from yours
Society dictates your actions should be one based on morals
However who is to say your morals are better than mine
Wars are created and tensions rife when honor is at stake
Time and time again I follow my honor bound path
Time and time again you choose another path
Will one of us decide the ending battle of life?
I will use honor in my decision when the time comes
