Ohhh how I love to dig up weird stuff! Here we are tonite, Mumm Family! Apparently, schools have now been pressured to get rid of Halloween celebrations with the mamby-pamby excuse that they are exclusionary. Instead they are putting in its place a 'Fall Festival'...kids can't dress up or anything. In my opinion, yes, it IS clearly a Pagan holiday, but has been universally adopted by Americans of every religion except for maybe the Pat Robertson type (I'm sure he dressed up as a kid too...heeheehee). Besides that, name me a school that doesn't put Christmas, Easter and other stuff up, never mind having holidays from school for those days. So.......
Are they right to get rid of Halloween to include....to include.....ummm...whoever is excluded from it?

Is this political correct thing just a disguised attempt by the insane fundies to get rid of a Pagan holiday under the guise of pretending that they want to be inclusionary? |
