SO i was watching High Lord Television today when a Duckworth commercial appeared. In it they say she SUPPORTS a bill allowing school principals the absolute power to EXPELL a student for bringing a gun to school. Yeah! thats what we need, more shunned ignorant children wandering the streets without an education, embittered, with a violent history made WORSE by lack of counseling and KNOWLEDGE. Who uses exclusionary tactics as a way to reform a young mind? Apalling. And we wonder where all these troubled human beings come from. We aslk ourselves where child killers and belltower snipers are created. From isolation. People like Duckworth can NEVER understand the plight of the poor family, being the sons and daughters of the Old Money Syndicate. In most poor households half the time parent(s) have no time to talk to their children about the problems they face in school. Theyre busy pulling 40+ hour shifts to keep food on the table for that young gun wielding kid. Who should step in then? Lawmakers. Maybe pour more cash into rehabilitation rather than corporal punishment. I have withnessed firsthand high school seek and destroy policies. In my school at the first sign of trouble, your name appears on a list, and are labeled accordingly: i.e. gangbanger, tagger, troublemaker etc. And with that they bind you with a contract that stipulates one wrong move, and youre expelled. No questions asked. With a bill like this passed, schools have one more chance to destroy a problematic teen's life.
I'm not saying everyone should be put in danger by slackening law about school gun posession, but the WORST thing you can do in a situation like that is to expell, and jail someone who hasnt even learned how to live life.
