Over the past few years, I have been involved in a very worthwhile
endeavor of rescuing farm animals – horses in particular. It is sad to
see so many beautiful and loving horses sent to “killer” auctions simply
because people no longer want them. And then there are those that
purchase perfectly healthy and sound horses and either use them up or
neglect them like they are mechanical vehicles that can be left sitting
after the key has been turned off. It is so sad to see what used to be
sleek and well fed animals turned into rough coated, limping, racks of
bones. So, I have been spending my time and money on restoring health to
animals like these. But, I am finding it difficult to continue by myself.
I have recently been approached to formalize this rescue operation and
thus be able to expand it in the near future. However, in order to
obtain the necessary 501c3 non-profit status, I have to hire an attorney
and a CPA. This means an initial layout of money and then, of course
more money to continue with the upkeep of the current rescue population
at my farm until status is approved and funding is available.
So, I am writing to you to request help! Any type of help would be
appreciated…..Donations to help with the feeding and care of animals or
to attain the non-profit status or help in the form of an attorney or
CPA would save the initial fees that I am about to face. If you know of
An attorney or CPA that could help…..or if you would like to send a
