Many of you might look at the ground
But that will be the only place it's not found

Friendship is the key
This is true for you and me
Friends are people that can't be replaces
They can take up much time and space
So think about what we said to you
Think about it when your feeling blue
A friend will never let you down
And will pick you up off the ground
So look to your left and right
And say hello to a new friend tonight
I wrote this one when volunteering my time at a local 4-H camp. Me and a group of friends were doing something called reflections, which is where the kids get a chance to look back on the day and see what they have learned. Many kids and adults loved this. I hope that you do too.
