Sharkfin's blog: "Chaos"

Good Morning and I trust EASTER was a fine one for you. I told Tony the other day when he brought up a incident that reminded me of my travels to Disney in Florida that I could write a book on activities and trials and tribulations of Florida visits. Namely Disney World but just shows you how people are impatient and courtesy has been termed a lost art. Oh, thankfully not by all, but how do we get that back? I believe the story was woman charged with assault while waiting in line for the “MAD-TEA CUP” Ride…little did Disney know that MAD TEA CUP made people mad…apparently a dispute over cutting in line. You know regardless of who did what when or where…isn’t the whole process lost when fights occur? I mean the park was intended to bring smiles and open a child’s eyes too wonderment and all…not fighting and hate and discontent. In our world today we are all rushing to get too much done too fast and never take the time to enjoy it… You know I have been to Disney so many times…I mean Mickey greets me by saying… “Hey Marty Welcome Back” Common Courtesy has been lost in our everyday life…just look around on how often people do certain things that with just a little C C (Common Courtesy) we would all be better off… I mean look, courtesy begets courtesy. Just find that one person who holds a door for one and then another will do the same, oh no doubt you will see the king or queen walk right thru the door as if the door was supposed to be held for their stuck up self… but the point being made here is what was lost could be found again, but… what never was could be if you get my meaning. See some were taught to take and not give…too often I see that in this little piece of Michigan we call the Southwestern Side. Many think they are owed, they are due respect, but wont give it…I know I so ran over the fields and hills and trampled any thought of making sense to you on this, like I said to Tony I could write a book on this subject and actually should. My point is vast and to broad to produce in a morning missive… The challenge is before me if I so choose to do it… perhaps… but Florida and its ever moving culture mixes and transplants…vacation seekers and amusement park attendees seem to make up millions of words for me to write about and like I said the challenge is there…How about this… how often did you see a group from another country dressed in similar shirts, and ravaging lines and just scavenging along taking everything in and not leaving it the way they found it? As a Diver (scuba) we were taught to leave the dive sight cleaner then we found it for the next…C C again, but oh well I beat this subject to death by roaming the hills and valleys without staying to the east route…I will leave you with one Florida episode in today’s MSN home page and this may make all the home pages… A fight between a married couple lands one in jail…the mom… PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. - A woman in Port St. Lucie faces charges of chasing her fleeing husband around their yard in a minivan, in attempts to drive over him about 20 times. Their baby, who was in the back seat of the minivan, was buckled up and was not hurt, deputies said. Deputies said it started over a dispute over $300 on Friday between Leslie Ann Brown and her husband, Nicholas. Deputies said he tried to stop the vehicle by throwing a brick at the windshield. The wife has been released on $2,750 bond, charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and child abuse. Hmmm apparently she either was not that good at driving or the man was very elusive. I think by throwing a brick thru the windshield the man was at fault…and should also be accountable for his actions… Oh well, not only the people sometimes gets the wacky award… the authorities do as well… Florida… A story in the making… Have a beautiful day. A huge hug and assorted pats Mart
