I have a friend,
her name is fire.
She burn like liguid fire of lust and desire.
She stir my heart to see what she longs for all of us to see.
I come to see...
Fire is lost and wander about life alone.
Her tears are cold and dreary of lack of caring from others.
How can such a precious soul and angel see not what she means to so many?
Once I held her body close to mine.
I knew her dreams and soar to the clouds to see what she saw within life that would come to end.
I laugh and joke about her words.
She cried her heart and soul out to each word.
Fire stood upon the deck within the freezing rain.
Her words to me still haunt my life....
"The day is coming that all will not see. Death is sailing faster upon the winds of a storm sea. I walked upon a land that held nothing but death. I felt the pain and sorrow of souls lost with their foolish dream."
I watched as she stood there with her heart and soul bursting to reality that she knew would be.
With each breath I saw her beg for our forgiveness cause we were to selfish and greed to stop to see.
I saw a woman of what all of us should be....
Surrender to the darkness.
She had no more reason to dare life or care about life.
I watch her wither away because of a love she held for us that was toss away.
Fire oh fire....
I cry to her trembling body.
As the blood pours out the ground.
I see the light flutter away from life, but her finger touches my mouth.
She whisper to my ear, "I go to peace. No more do I have to suffer or walk along. I will be waiting for you the day you must come home too."
