it was easy to be what i was
when i wasn't what i am
i am much more now then i was before
still i am less than you would adore
even though you have set ablaze my inner fire, my desire
if the sun could cry
if the sky could sigh
history still would have never seen
a disaster such as i
why do i try
when inside i know you wish me to die
i am like a tapestry sky, a setting sun
i will fade to nothing and be done..........
believe it or not, this is going to get published. haven't decided what to think about that yet
