| Ok..this is for any EMS or FF who have worked a code. Monday, I worked my first code, (I'm a basic, but almost done with medic school)4 ppl from my work and the local ALS service was called. This was a 92yo woman c/o chest pain SOB. CPR, defib, and Epi were all given. I combitubed the woman to get an airway..but to no avial from all of us...she passed. I know in my heart and mind I did all the right things. I am still second guessing myself...is this normal for a first code???...Will the sleeplessness go away??...Let me know your opinion.... |
