| Ok, my girl is 13yo (ur usual, typical teen) Well tonight she got in trouble for her bad grades. I told her she was grounded. When she went up stairs, I thought she was going to get her jammies on, she comes down asking for a knife, to hurt herself, she's not happy with her body. (we went to the ER) Now she's petite @85lbs. She blames her friends for making fun of her (not yet quite developed body like theirs) Here's my prob...to spend more time with her, should I give up my dream of being a Paramedic,and go to work somewhere else. Or get her counseling, continue communication with her in hopes the counseling will help. Mind you I work almost 70hrs most wks. |
