Hurricane warnings stays in effect from Corpus Christi, TX to Rio San Fernando, Mexico. Storm Center is 55 miles east of Brownsville, moving northwest at 8 mph. Maximum sustained winds are 85 mph and pressure is 972 mb. Hurricane winds extend 25 miles and tropical storm force winds extend outward 140 miles and storm surge of 4 to 6 feet.
Dolly is expected to rainfall accumulations of 6 to 10 inches with isolated amounts up to 15 inches. Landfall is expected near the Mexico-Texas border around midday today and can possibly increase to a Category 2 before making landfall.
