Good Morning. This a Tuesday in June. Wow to bad I did not use that line last month it would have sounded better. How are you? Me…I am good. Hillary is in the news and is thanking women for her lead. Actually she should thank Bill for being such a wanker but that is another story. You know, had he been a model president he and her would have just settled for the retirement benefits of a former president and they both would be out of our hair except for every now and then a local parade or something of that nature…
Nature, a good start to a story that was going on around the net, well actually I dug this one up. It is human nature to spend because you can’t take it with you right? That is the case of John Brandrick who decided to seek compensation the Royal Cornwall Hospital. Here is the story: John Brandrick told London's Daily Telegraph in May that he will seek compensation from Royal Cornwall Hospital in Treliske, England, because he's still alive. He was diagnosed in 2006 with pancreatic cancer, with about a year to live, and he quit his job, stopped paying his bills, and used his life's savings to enjoy his last days. However, he was recently told he merely had (non-fatal) pancreatitis, and now he's broke. [Daily Telegraph (London), 5-7-07] You know…I do have empathy for the man, honest I do…I perhaps would have done something similar to what he has done, except I would have saved something for my family…no mention of family for him so apparently he was a loner. That has Movie written all over it. You watch some goober will come up with a script and movie rights for this mans dilemma.
Also in the news is how to pick a slimmer looking bathing suit for woman. Yeah I thought about that one for only about two seconds…no way no how am I talking about slimmer, bathing suits and women today or any day…I like the use of my fingers thank you very much and I do not have the slightest urge to sip soup through a straw and only be able to see blurry objects due to two black eyes. I will leave the suit issue to the pros.
Thursday is our annual bus trip to wriggly field in Chicago…wooo hoo, we are doing Murphy’s Bleachers above Murphy’s bar for the game against Seattle Thursday. If you are around and about Chicago that day, look me up at Murphy’s if you can get in, the place packs shoulder to shoulder and the weather is going to be an awesome 85* sunny and a wonderful day for a Murphy’s Bloody Mary…Anyway the invitation is open I will buy you a drink as long as it is stronger the water…I am not paying 5 bucks for water for anyone…My two youngest daughters are stowing away on the bus trip but we only have 20 spots for the rooftop so they are going in the park to watch the game. Should be fun, and there will be baseball too!!! LOL CUBS win Cubs win! I can’t believe after all these years I am still a goofy cub fan… I mean I know I am goofy but, being a cub fan is what I was referring to.
Oh well I ramble and bambled enough for one morning. I will see if I can muster enough change to send John Brandrick some coin to buy coffee for this up coming week…
