Greetings everyone!!!Thanks for visiting my profile.Ive started this section 3 times and today I'm going to getter done111I'm 52 and the Mother of 9 children-6 boys and 3 girls.Ialso have 5 Grandchildren-3 boys and 2 girls [one which is due august 13].the wait is driving me CrAzY!!!!My name is Karen Joy[McQueen] Dimon. I was born in Presque Isle, Maine-i"m an Air Force brat. I have been across the USA and back again until I was 10, when the family settled in Rhode Island.I graduated High school in 1972,married the only husband I've had in 1973,Had 7 children between the years 1974 -1983,and divorced in 1986.Real bad situation!!!!!I've sold tupperware, avon,and at home parties for Artex, paint in a tube.I've done lobstering and did bait for the lobster boats,plus I took an off shore fishing trip so I could understand the stresses of my ex's job.I met my youngest daughters' father while in the bait business then after the girls were born, had to break up with because he was very abusive in all kinds of ways.the girls and I came to Duluth Minnesota of June 19 2000,where we have lived for 8 years now. I am single and looking for my Knight- Mr Right, but am keeping busy by helping others who may need a place to stay for a short time,some who need a meal, or some who just need a ear to listen.My children say I'm too nice, but I tell them you can't be too nice and besides isn't Nice what people wish everyone wants others to be?I have been isolated my whole life. while a kid, I couldn't do what other kids did because my parents were very strict,even as a teen I did't get to do the things my peers were doing.I stayed home,babysitting my brothers and sister,or in my room crying.I've lived with abuse all my life,No male will ever strike me or rape me again, EVER!!!Before my time here is over, I want to learn to ride a horse, Buy and ride my own Harley,buy the house I'm living in and have some fun[whatever that is].I have a My Space and every day I learn a little more about the computer,I really need to how to type.I'm a 2 finger typist, real slow when trying to hold a conversation on line!Family ties are very,VERY important to me.I tell you this because of the Steve McQueen thing. Both of my parents have passed away and however bad growing up was,they were still family.I am a Christian[ this should have been in my log 1st].Jesus is very real in my life although I sometimes slip up.With out Him, I would never come this far in my life.
