deflected darkness...a poem
its so sad that you're so sad
your woes turn to rage
and your rage drives you mad
I'm not at all happy that you've pointed it all towards me
but I know that with success comes people like you
deflecting that hate of you
by talking down to me
you're so swollen with regret
that I gave birth to my ideas
instead of creating your own
you want people to swallow your poisoned tears
I feel really sad for you
for not being able to see things
as clearly as I do
and I'm not at all happy
that for your rage that its me you try to abuse
But its ok
cause I don't that what you direct at me
is all about how you feel about you
