So, I have to say that I was extremely homoured to have met with the great Mr. Pinhead himself, Doug Bradley. I ran in to get hi sautograph, only to find that he had stopped signing pics...I hung my head down and said "awww I ran in here to get your autograph" and he put his arm around me and said "come with me my dear" So I introduced myself..when I said I'm Monique Dupree...First Blakc Scream Queen..he said..I know who you are...! Well, that did it for me. I didnt know what to do with myself...and you know what? DC artist got a pic of me, doug and her daughter alexis...I was just so honoured to be in his presence.. Then I met Kane Hodder's brother, who eerily looks like him! Like they look just like one another. Being aroun dthese peopl ejust helps me to keep my eye on the prize..you know? Today was a good day

It was strange at the convention...I was there and my other half who calls herself Thagatanegrra...Me...I'm Gata..I am a BLACK cat, however, I just dont use that name...So I was getting alot of, "So you let her use your name?" It's not anbody's name. I get called alot of different nicknames and shit. Its really strange...It depends on where I am of what nickname you here.
I love that name though..Gata...I'm so feline..and even people that doesnt know that ask me about it...That makes me feel all warm and fuzzy

It feels really good to be back home..my stress level just goes away...At home, I dont have to worry about if I'm treating anyone a certain way or is this person mad at me or did I rub someone the wrong way...Fans are fickle sometimes too...I'm just content when I'm home..I leave that bullshit on the otherside of my door..this i smy sanctuary

Chicago was great...I met alot fo really cool people ...chilled with Kane Hodder for a minute and Ari Leehman took time to tell me about his band and new flix...Christie Hemme KEPT coming over to talk to me (well kept running into one another and we both had a table at the convention) I have really good news but I want to wait until THEY announce it before I do...but I assure you..its taking me to the next level..I'm so happy
