My best friend had a heart attack this week at the age of 30. His main artery was blocked off and the doctors put a stent in. The doctor came out after surgery and told me he had no choice but to quit smoking. He has been smoking since he was 17. He made a plan to quit smoking and said he would start smoking lights as soon as his carton ran out, then go on the patch. Today, he told me because of all the stress (looking for a full time job for over a year, the heart attack, cardiac rehab, etc), there's no way he can quit. So here's my dilemma....
A) Do I stand by his decision to wait on quitting
orrrrrr....
B) Do I get all his loved ones involved for an intervention???????? |
