Well, this day has not started out well at all. T2 went downstairs to feed the babies and he came up and told me that one of the newest babies was dead.
I could not believe it...the cutest babies we have had around here and now one of them is dead.
I went downstairs and laying halfway in, with his butt and back legs hanging out of the dog...well, cathouse that is, was Cuddles.
The poor little baby had apparently just passed away. He tried crawling into the cathouse in order to.....apparently die.....but couldn't make it, he got as far as he could. He wasn't even stiff yet.
What a total waste...he was just so darn adorable. I'm just glad that I got some pictures of the little guy. I have no idea what happened to him! The last time I saw him which was last week, he was doing just fine and now today he died.
Even though he was only 3 1/2 weeks old, he had already gotten a permanent place in my heart and made himself a part of this family.
While I was downstairs, I was holding the poor little angel and had to put him in a plastic bag and set him on the freezer. I can't even bury him myself...it's still just too much on me physically, so now T2 is going to have to try it.
Poor Frankie...I could tell he already missed his brother and Patches, the daddy, was beside himself...he was just laying there, seriously acting like he was depressed...I felt so bad.
So, I came upstairs, luckily Polly was still asleep and I started to cry. I just couldn't believe we lost another baby. Polly then woke up and after she got dressed, I told her that Cuddles ended up dying not too long ago and she had such a hurt look on her face...she's such a smart and emotional little 4 1/2 year old.
Well, T2 brought up Streak...mommy and the other baby, Frankie and the minute I saw Frankie, I started crying again...just knowing that Cuddles was gone...that cute little precious baby.
You will be missed little furry baby.
