I don't know that "idols" is the right word. I rather think of them as "HERO'S"!
WHO?
First...my husband who served in the Marine Corp for 10 years & currently serving in the National Guard.
Second...I have a few friends & family who have served or currently are serving in one of our Military Branches.
Third....Every single person who has/is fighting for my right to be free!
We have the tendency to take small everyday things for granted. It's the small things that make the world go round. Yet, those are the things that we would miss if taken away from us.
Stop and smell the flowers, sometime.
Take a moment and look at the skyline/horizon.
Remember, when things are a little rough, someone, somewhere is fightin' for you to sit in that chair. Someone is away from their family. Someone is not complaining about their job, even though they are on the other side of the world doing it.
