Now that I am all plugged in just thought I would do a bit of a blog about the ways I like to communicate and the free software available. I dont have AOL and I dont use yahoo due to me having a shite computer and the toolbar download for it just about wore the machine out trying to run anything, so I been mostly using gmail for IM chats, if you have a pc then gmail is cool, you never have to chuck stuff out and can find things easier, also providing you have a headset u can actually call other gmail users and have a voice chat, all u need to do is download google talk which is very cool, u dont need to be logged in to your gmail to use it, anyway u cannot sign up for gmail u have to be invited so if you would like an invite to try it, let me know.
About Skype I am quite amazed at all the thousands of people who havent heard of skype, its a free internet telephone service that lets you call anyones computer for free, yes that's right for free, so you can talk to people all over the place for hours and for fuck all. It does cost if you want to call landlines but its cheaper than normal landline calls, there is a bit of a downside in sometimes the sound quality aint that great but most of the time it works like a dream.
Okay Stickam, taking the communication that one bit further, only fell across this the other day so am still quite new to it, its video chat and pretty cool providing u have webcam and audio stuff u can natter to people and its free, even if you dont have the audio or webcam u can still login and chat with the people u want, its very cool as I hate typing most of the time and i prefer to talk the legs off donkeys, i have a link to their on me profile page, please feel free to add me as a friend or even come say hello, anyway thats all i can think of just now will write more when i come across other stuff as and when
