This has been a long going ordeal with the ACLU and the Bible Belt. So courthouses and city halls seem to like having the 10 Commandments of Abrahamic faiths slathered all over everything. While these are indeed for the most part OK laws (except for the whole 'I'm a conceited god and you can't have any other ones' part) they espouse a certain religious value in a government institution. Said government was founded with a specific note that there is to be a distinct separation between church and state. So.......
Should the courthouses be allowed to push religion on people

Should they keep that sort of thing at home and let people believe what they want to? |
