What does a person do when they come undone? How does one keep picking themselves up off the floor when knocked down? How many times can a person offer their heart only to have it shattered into a million pieces....the job starts again of picking up the pieces slowly.....but do they ever recover every piece? Why is it that you can come to someone pure of heart, not look at their past failures and offer them all the best that you are and have them say 'Yes' to you, only to later have you die in their arms as they tell you that you deserve someone better....or make you pay for the sins of those failures before you. There is a lot of pain and sorrow here with people reaching out to each other as friends, sometimes more....only to have things come full circle and repeat the same mistake, or slip back into the sadness they are accustomed to. How does a person refill after giving everything and getting back nothing, or false hope and promises unfulfilled? I have no answers. Or how does a person deal with being told that they are 'afraid to hurt you' so it's best not to proceed. How do you help some here and endure the attacks of others upset that they were not the ones getting the attention? Hate, Anger, Resentment, Lies, all make people insensitive to needs other than their own. Those that give up become nothing more than zombies..no longer caring if they hurt others, no longer caring even about themselves......showing all to others on webcams in the name of 'adult fun'. But what is it really? A way to validate they are still desired as a human? Why give credence to hollow words that tell a person they are 'Hot', 'Sexy', 'Beautiful' or some other bullshit from someone behind a PC that they likely will never meet and yet give no validity to words like 'Caring, 'Love', 'Honor', Respect', and the most neglected of all words....'INTIMACY'. What happened to Intimacy? Did I miss the Obituary explaining it's demise? My Fave Song has lyrics that sing..."WHO DO YOU NEED.....WHO DO YOU LOVE....WHEN YOU COME UNDONE".
What do you do when the one you need does not need you? What do you do when you look around and you're alone. All the words, promises, hopes and dreams were mere whisps of smoke played on a computer screen for the sake of 'adult fun'. Some still believe in words, still trust in promises, still hope for Truth and Intimacy to prevail. But what do we do when We Come Undone?? It gets harder and harder to pick up the pieces, to get up of the canvas....to give....and never get back.
