Sharkfin's blog: "Chaos"

created on 10/03/2006  |  http://fubar.com/chaos/b9661
Good Monday Morning to all… I first want to say I am not picking on Florida. I Have relatives there too. But, my word…ok let’s start out with the voters. Yeah, yeah we all know about the recount election and cause for concern that it was not accurate or legal..yada yada (Is yada a word?) I fear not! Well anyway that means “who cares!” in my terms ok, so that election is over but check out the people who wanted to vote in the primary election and …oh damn… missed it by a week. During the media hoopla on Feb. 5, about that day's 24-state "Super Tuesday" "national primary" for president, enthusiastic voters called election offices for the addresses of their polling places so they could run down and vote: 400 called in Virginia (but its primary would be the following week); 1,000 called in Dallas (its primary would be a month later); "hundreds" called in Florida (their primary was the week before). At least six people were lined up to vote by 6:30 a.m. at one precinct in Milwaukee (Wisconsin's primary would be two weeks later). [MSNBC-AP, 2-5-08] [Dallas Morning News, 2-6-08] [Orlando Sentinel, 2-5-08] [WTMJ Radio (Milwaukee), 2-5-08] Nothing like being a day late or in Florida’s case a week late…how about those in Wisconsin who did not want to miss it, you would have thought it was a line for the wii Game… Ok, enough about being a bit naïve in Florida…oh just when you thought it was safe to let your Girl Scout Daughter (hopefully your daughter was a girl scout instead of your son) out to sell cookies at a local market only to have two gals steal her cookie money… Two Park Vista High School girls who admitted that they swiped money off the table of a Girl Scout selling cookies at a supermarket in Boynton Beach, Fla., in January told WPBF-TV later that they had no remorse. Said one (on camera): "We went through all that effort to get (the money). We got all these charges (against us), and we had to give the money back. I'm kind of pissed." Added the other, "I'm not sorry. I'm just pissed that I got caught." The victim's mother said that the girls returned to the supermarket the next day and taunted the little girl. [WPBF-TV (West Palm Beach), 2-1-08] Come on… taking a girl scouts money? What kind of heinous person or persons in this case would be so black hearted? Ok I will get off of Florida for a Minute… oh, oh and here is one for Pennsylvania for you. Either the husband in this next stories marriage is a brick shy of a load or well you decide. Roy Chamberlin, 29, has been charged with 1,100 criminal counts in connection with what Pennsylvania police said was a series of nearly 200 rapes against a married woman in Potter Township (and had his first court hearing in January). According to the police report, the woman said she was too terrified ever to report the crimes to police or to her husband. Once, said the husband, he came home unexpectedly about 9 a.m. and found the bedroom door locked and a struggle occurring inside (hearing "Get off me!" and "You're hurting me!"). After the husband pounded on the door, Chamberlin walked out, leaving the wife "crying hysterically and trembling." However, the husband said that his wife declined to explain the situation and that he didn't question her (not wanting to upset her further, since she had recently had surgery). [Centre Daily Times (State College, Pa.), 1-9-08] 200 times… and in the couples house, in their bedroom, door locked? Come on, dude wake up I am thinking Roy might have been led to slaughter by a distraught two timer. Oh this so sounds like a case I truly want to bring up, but can’t until it gets all cleared out or someone gets arrested in our area. Oh it’s so juicy but alas I can’t spill the beans yet. Due to implications that might get Bonnie in trouble, no, no , no Bonnie has nothing to do with this story except being the President of the Coloma Community Pageant Organization…oh it’s juicy, it takes place over a two year period you will love this, but I can’t say anymore only that evil is spawned in a close nit little community and Jail time could be emanate. Ok… now that I dangled that carrot out there I will close by wishing you a wonderful, yet marvelous Monday. Oh, lastly what is this noise about people complaining about the Soap Opera “ As the World Turns” Come on… are we so infatuated with news of the… icky kind… I will not go into it, due to the fact I do not believe in what they want to happen and I will not even write it down… it’s on MSN home page, under todays picks… The Title is: Viewers Protest Soap Opera… Please… enough is enough, I would protest the dang show if they did do the scene they want to happen… yuck!!!! Wow I was full this morning… Take care and may your day be simply perfect! A huge hug and many pats Mart
