Can I Trust You With My Heart
My heart is fragile. It is like glass.
I have trusted many along in my past.
It is not weak but a thick piece for sure.
And filled with something compassionate and pure.
Too rich for some and others too poor.
Too broken for others who want it no more.
My heart has been glued and taped back together.
Only to face a little more bad weather.
I have come this far, all tattered and torn.
Looking for something called 'love' to be born.
It will take some time, this I know to be true.
With my heart, can I trust you?
