My American Flag
They say your colors never run
And you're the symbol of an army of one
A symbol so bold and so very strong
Surely they cannot ALL be wrong.
When in the face of the enemy at hand
You're feared much when you're forced to stand
High above the heads and hills
The enemy shutters and is covered in chills.
They hide in their cubbies so tucked away
Because they know today is the day
The day they battle the one so brave
The one that stands for: Protect and Save.
Cowardly they sit, indeed my friend
But remember, you're the last to stand in the end.
You protected those that fell before.
You will protect then, now, and forever more.
