Good Morning! How are ya and all that jazz?
I seen a Video on Bull Sharks under the “Video Highlights” tab on MSN this morning. As you might already know nothing flogged my dog this morning news worthy that is. So, I did Israel tribute video where his song is playing while pictures of Israel’s life unfold up until death and then the Island wide tribute to him was very touching… but this is a Thursday and no need for sadness so moving on to the Bull Shark Video. No, don’t get me wrong Bull Sharks and a video on them are not happy, but it does give us a chance to see how very, very dangerous this big fish are. Bull sharks will hunt and swim in waters not too deep, so moving into the shallows to stay out of their range…might be very difficult. This video I watched showed a couple who had been studying the sharks habitats and characteristics (there are way to many letters in that last word for a small meaning but big word…however if one looks at a small word with a big meaning makes not a lot of difference… like “if”) So back to the story…I hate when I do that! So, these sharks will go in shallows, they will follow you from salt water into fresh with no problem adjusting either. Bull sharks are known to be found thousands of miles up stream in the Amazon as well as the Mississippi Rivers… Yuck! Bull sharks along with Great Whites and Tiger Sharks are proven man eaters… Oh and by the way… they love women too… These sharks can do anything except walk on land…thank the maker there… So this couple catches one on some kind of devise and then plants on the dorsal fin a camera called the critter cam. Watching the picture from a stand point of a shark filming it’s lifestyle is way to cool, but scary. The woman narrating the bit in conclusion tries to somewhat soften the fear by saying, Although the Bull Sharks are dangerous you are much more likely to get hit by lightning then a Shark Bite. Ok,…how about this… How often do people get hit my lightning compared to being hit by a meteor? Well, let me give you a story about a Bosnian man who feel extra terrestrials are after him due to the fact his house has been hit on FIVE separate occasions. He has gone as far as installing a metal roof equipped with steel girders. He says I quote, “I am not sure what I did to make the Extra Terrestrials made at me, but I am taking no chances” hmmm… that is like an airport beacon in your yard so planes can see you not to hit you… I am sorry if your ticket is meant to be punched… then it will be punched. Fate has a weird way of making the playing field even…
So enough about Sharks, Planes and Meteors all this talk makes me feel like Chicken Little running around and saying the sky is falling.
We are less then two weeks away from Earth Day 2008, think green promote savings not gouging and taking away. Plant something green, change a lamp from Incandescent to Fluorescent turn lights off burn less gas… walk not ride… recycle.. you name it… If I can do it and keep doing it so can a number of you, lets’ not steal our children’s children clean earth away… no I have not went all Harry christener on you, and I am not in a robe with beans and silk threads…it just makes good sense. Energy is why we pay higher prices on this and that, and stop blaming the Chinese and Mexicans for working… they have family to support too, we have just let BIG BUSINESS dictate what and how we run our lives and how much it will cost us. Here is a plain and simple motto I have went by for well… a life now… started it when I was 14 I think… Don’t be a Party Pooper, if there is a chance you can make someone smile with your smile, then smile your ass off, Lift the spirits of those who need lifting, there is a chance you may have just lifted your own. And foremost, don’t blame for the just of having a quick answer to a solvable task. If you can’t fix it, find out how to from someone who knows…if no one knows… search harder… Yeah I know a lot of things all rolled up into one… the short and shallow of it all is treat people like you wish to be treated. Gosh… I feel like I am coaching girls softball again… I had a lot of happy gals just because I made the game fun… try it, it is truly easier then one might think…

Lastly if you think that was all hog wash, that is your right to, I am not going to change you or anyone else… but here is a huge movement that we all can do. If you change one bulb to energy efficient and you tell 10 people you know and they all tell ten people they know and so forth and so on… not only can we save trees, air gas… energy enough to run a small town 30 days… I am not fooling next time you are in wally mart pick up a think green lamp “spring Lamp” box and read… you will be astounded and wally mart is selling those lamps at no profit. That is right they are just recouping their cost of the lamp… I can’t say it any clearer. Think Green folks..
