El Chupacabra's blog: "Buh bye !!!!!"

Wednesday night I was making my final drive home from Ely where I was working for 3 months. I stopped in Eureka and headed out from there. I was traveling hands free, I had my head set in. My phone was in a crate to the right of me. About 50 miles out of Eureka my phone pinged. It was a Facebook notification I have no idea what or from who. I looked down to see what it was and press the button for the screen to go dark. When I looked up I was on the shoulder and running over a side marker, as I approached the next one I swerved to miss it but clipped it and blew a tire, I over corrected, then over corrected again I was facing the opposite direction I was traveling and headed for the opposite shoulder. When I hit that shoulder my truck flipped I think it was only once but I'm not sure. I came to rest on the top Thankfully conscious I was able to unclip my seatbelt and roll my window down to get out. I'm scraped cut and bruised, for some reason for the 2nd time in my life my guardian angels were with me. I cannot thank the 2 men who stopped to help me, the NHP trooper, the Lander County deputy, the Lander County VFD member, and the 3 wonderful Lander county EMT ladies that assisted me. My saint of a mother and step father, and the pups came to get me and brought me home. Looking at the seen and how things were, I am MUCH luckier this time than the last.
No comments or likes, please. All I want is, if your guilty of doing what I did PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stop doing it immediately it CAN and WILL happen it's just a matter of time. Let me be the lesson learned for us all, You may not be as lucky as I was and you all have as much if not more to lose than I do.

My second wish is for as many people as possible to go leave some kind loving words of encouragement for my lovely fu fiance and dear friend JennJenn as her fight begins Monday.
