I got a date tonight.
No, there is nothing unusual about that.
What is strange is that I am going on a date with my ex-husband!
We have been divorced for 11 years and have always remained friends. Even through our divorce.
But what is very strange for me is that when he called me yesturday to confirm our date, after I hung up, I had the EXACT same reaction as I did the very first time he called me more than 20 years ago!
I'm being flooded by a whirlwind of emotions right now. Excitement, fear, wonder, anticipation, and I even have the proverbial butterflies in the stomach!

I'm so nervous and excited I can't sit still!
