Good Morning, in today’s news…well there is not much due to Super Tuesday garbage all over the net…for those that care what delegate won what or whom is now leading…well heck I can’t tell and really do not give a flying hoot…However…perhaps I take that back flying hoots are hard to come by, wait I said I don’t give so that means I get to keep it if I had it in the first place…holey smokes I am thoroughly confused now… Oh talking about Thoroughly, the thoroughbreds are now tuning up for the run for the roses. Wooohooo!!! I love this time of year. Although I am not a tremendous handicapper I do love to play the game. The game I am referring to is the national contest put of by Churchill Downs and the Kentucky Derby association. The field of triple crown nominees are 438 entrants. So that means a ton of different contenders for this years rose blanket. Last night I plunked down and got on the site that holds the contest (it’s totally free and for those who do wish to bet they can but do not have to, the cost if so would only be 10$ however you can still win even though it is free) Anyway I sent invitations out to about 15 people or so, and if you did not get my invitation have no fear contact me and I will send you via email the goods. It is a hoot to play and the bragging rights are too awesome just ask Linda, Barbara and Lori and pore Jean tried…but issues tended to keep her away on a huge weekend that might have poll vaulted her into the lead, she had the horses…they were just stabled… So come join us, I think we had 10 players last year but would love to have a lot more.
Other then that looks like twisters in some southern states did a number on homes and deaths are being reported, that is never good. I do know it has been a strange year for storms and found out yesterday watching the history channel.. oh crap I am a geek! Yes I sometimes delve into the history channel… But, yesterdays story bated me. It was on the Bermuda Triangle and the other Devils Triangle not known to many but us Michiganders called the Great Lakes. Those great looking ladies took down over 6000 ships and countless numbers of sailors…living close to Lake Michigan and knowing what I do, those lakes take more lives each year so beware of them. Other then that the show was interesting to say the least. Survivor all-stars starts Thursday. I am geeked about that too.
