I went to the Billy Joel Concert last night....
Let me just say....he truely is THE PIANO MAN and a damn good entertainer. I was a lil disappointed in the accoustics at the arena where we were at (American Airlines Center in Dallas), but what do you expect for a big arena. Can't have your cake and eat it to am i right? I was just excited to hear him play one of my favorite songs of all time "New York State of Mind". Yeah i know i'm evil and i love heavy metal, but relaxing rock and roll and some jazz calms the everyday savage beast. He did most of all of his hits with exception of two "uptown girl" and "For the Longest time". Other than that, i rocked out with my socks out...hehehe....you thought i was going to say cock didn't ya? Damnit i said it anyway :P:P.
And that was just the beginning....
The train ride back to the train station where i parked was quite amuzing as well. There was a couple sitting beside me and Steph, and it was apparent that they had a "lil" too much to drink....WHICH IS OK! Well, halfway through the train ride, i started to hum "for the longest time" and they started egging me on to sing out loud and go up and down the isle and make people sing it. I said "nahhhhhh i didn't want to make an ass of myself". Well his girlfriend said the magic word "i dare you to do it", and then flashed a five dollar bill in front of my face. Oh it was on then!!! I took the money from her hand, got up, and sang my heart out and that whole train started to sing, and I got to admit, IT WAS FUN AS HELL!!!!!!
A++++++++++++ on the concert and on the train trip back to the car. I'd see Billy Joel again in a New York State of Mind, MINUTE!!!!!
Peace, and BJ's hehehe Billy Joel's (get your mind out of the gutter!!!!!!)
