Today Stella told the boss I said we must do it this way when I actually said we can and should do it this way because it's my job I've trained for and have performed for years and you have never done and you are making it harder than it needs to be.
She doubled down and said no you said we had to.
And I doubled down and said...I have never uttered that sentence.
And it's true that I haven't because it is false statement.
Then it hit me....Stella is my ex husband. It doesn't matter what you actually say it only matters how they interpret what you say and they never listen to the words only their interpretation of the words. And they will then tell you it's what you said and never admit it's not what you said then convince themselves you are lying to them about what you said. It's a grueling circle of bullshit. I know this because I lived it for 10 years.

As a stay at home mother I had a saying on the laundry wall...I do what I've got to do in the order in which it needs to be done.
My husband at the time had banned me from all social media (or leaving the house without him). I realized I was an adult and created a Facebook. He came storming out of the bedroom screaming at me for being selfish. I asked how am I selfish...

I just looked at him like wtf.
And that was the moment I knew it would never get better and starting planning my escape.
