Good Friday Morning to you. How are you and how has the world been treating you? Me I am good, it’s misty, rainy, sleety, snowy out. Which makes the roads an utter mess but, hey it’s Michigan we are used to nasty weather… I am ready for spring!
I so was a geek last night. Well not so much in the computer area as I was building up my Packer Shrine. Actually it is more of a shrine to Bret Favre then anything. I have so much Packer memorabilia oh him alone and the Packers as well it is uncanny. I feel like a kid again due to the fact I had the go ahead up changing up the front room as we call it not so much the family room this is the further place towards the front of the house and it doubled as a porch at one time until I vaulted the flat ceilings and dressed it up with tile, a wood burner and this year a pool table. So it is more so a game room. Bonnie mentioned the fact I should put some of my Packer stuff out there and get it out of the storage bins I have had it in for years. I have 10 Favre Plates, a Super bowl Blanket, numerous helmets pictures figurines you name it, it is a Packer-Head room for sure… so that is where the geek comes out. Mandy and Jax came out numerous times and said, “Dad, you are so cute” I was on like a mission to get it all up I will have to snap a Picture of it or have one of the girls do it and I will post it. Yeah I am a geek when it comes to Packer stuff… Oh well… I was going to right about the world events and tragety going on here and there, you name it you turn around and there is turmoil about this and that Global warming, a freak with a gun kills innocent people in a mall, Ms Rice trying to get Russian Backing on Iran. Foo on all that crap, we hear it everyday…I am sick of it… It’s the Christmas season and each year people try to out do past criminals. I could write and write and write about the never ending crap that circles the world on a daily basis and what becomes of it? Nothing! So I am writing about me today, The dog is fine. Lizard the wonder German Shepard is fine for all those who wondered. The children are fine, calling their Dad a Freak for my child like tenacity of making the game room a Packer room. There is tons of Indian stuff out there, wolfs, a huge dreamscape I believe it’s called a Dream Catcher. It is about 5’ tall and the item I purchased somewhere for the life of me I can’t recall but it was on a Mountain top and a small relic store on that mountain.. There are wooden geese from Oregon in there along with Indian plates Bonn did in ceramics for me like a hundred years ago. So the room is sort of a gamer room, Indian room, Packer room now…
Well, enough about me, I am not big news nor funny news nor intelligent news, I did not rid the world of Cancer, nor will I… I just get so tired of crappy terrible news and it is Daily! If is isn’t bad news then it is bad just hearing stupid celebrities killing a person, driving drunk, too skinny, someone is stealing another’s husband or girls friend, wife you name it. Writers strike… Oh well..
The ramblings and lack there of that of a Michigan guy are not big news. But!, you will never have a better friend. Oh let me finish with this…a friend of mine who we go out with him and his wife Peg have lost power a few times over the last year, so I gave him my extra Generator. I told him if he likes it give me what you feel is a fair price… Well that was 4 months ago and he always says hey, tell me what you want for that Generator I said tell me what you wish to give… end of story… well the Friday after Thanksgiving they lost power, well… they had the Generator right? He could not get it started…. He did not call me.. he said “ Ah you were off work no doubt and needed the rest…” I said.. I was shopping with the girls at 5 in the morning dude, rest my ass! So he said, “I didn’t call because I knew you would drop everything and come a running over…” He was right I would have… but he should have called I could have told him he had the gas turned off… so when he finally told me of his dilemma I said lets go look at it and sure as … well sure enough it was turned off… the Generator turned over on the first pull….
