As the day comes to a close, the sun setting in the west, painting colors of reds and purple across the clouds. The cool breeze blows across my face as I take a deep breath in thankfulness for the day. It is quiet time now, and all that can be heard is the night. Dampness from the gentle rain as it cools the breeze after a hot day.
Looking back on the day, I see the chaos that fills people's life. Sadness, emptiness, loneliness, anger, and more. And a simple smile or a gentle and kind word, brightens thier day if not just for a moment in time....as a smile comes across thier face. What more could someone ask for?
If you can live your life and touch even just one life, then all that you have been through is worth it. A quote I once saw....."God never said that it would be easy, He just said it would be worth it....".
