Annoying Phrases part 2

Beat Around the Bush: This sounds more like a sexual fetish then anything else. How anyone can use this phrase without conjuring some crazy images is beyond me. Sure I'll beat around the bush but can I trim it first? hehehehe If It Aint Broke Dont Fix It: Just thinking about this one makes my head hurt. How the FUCK do you fix something thats not broken. The very meaning of the word fix alone makes this such a redundancy that anybody who uses it should be shot. The Grass Is Always Greener On the Other Side: Bullshit! Im looking at my neighbors house across the street and I can tell you thats its anything but green. Cross That Bridge When You Get To It: This to me seems like a dicey statement. First you are assuming that there is a bridge to cross in the first place. Second even if there is a bridge to cross you are assuming that it is in good condition. What if it has collapsed? Then what? Do you turn around and go home? What if while crossing the bridge you suddenly realize that you have an extreme fear of heights? And Trolls! You have to worry about trolls! Every story I heard as a kid that had bridges involved a troll who lived under it! No thanks Ill pass on the bridge Im going to take the tunnel instead. (this is my all time favorite) We're Pregnant: no YOU are pregnant I am fucked.
