Good Morning… how many times have you heard this saying. “And the truth shall set you free?” Well if you seen the movie Liar, Liar then you have heard it. But it has been used a time or two before by preachers, ministers you name it they have said it…perhaps jokingly but they said it just the same. Here is one that is no joke and from a New Paper just down the road from me in South Bend Indiana. Small-Town Mayors: Mayor Ken Williams resigned in Centerton, Ark. (pop. 2,146), in November and revealed that he is actually Don LaRose, an Indiana preacher who abruptly abandoned his family in 1980 because, he said, Satanists had abducted and threatened him, and brainwashed him to rub out details of a murder he supposedly knew about. He said his memory returned only recently, thanks to truth serum. [WSBT-TV (South Bend, Ind.), 11-22-07] Hmmm I think I would get that truth serum distributed around the white house and more so across the country to other politician places of venue. Oh well such is life.
We were pounded by snow this weekend. It also looks to be heading East very rapidly so take cover. But, it could have just been LES and that happens a bunch around here until the Lake freezes which if the temps stay where they are that will be sooner more so then later. Oh the term was Lake Effect Snow…
A story in Dallas, Texas could be the cause of a few election count errors. Oops! The Texas Board of Education announced in November that it had made its selections of approved math textbooks for the next school year, even though the group of chosen books contained a total of 109,263 errors. Books of the industry giant Houghton Mifflin accounted for about 86,000. All publishers have guaranteed to correct the errors by the time the books are shipped. [Dallas Morning News, 11-16-07] Hmmm apparently one or two errors are not bad in my eye, but 109,263…Holey smokes people was there anything correct in it? Was Math spelt Mat? Oh well…
