In the wind, can be heard the cries,
Of his world broken and shattered.
So he walks day and night,
For his healing was all that mattered.
His path, with hers, aligned,
His guise deceiving and lying.
And deep within his heart,
Lays his soul, bleeding and crying.
From her, he turns his eyes,
For fear of her knowing his winter.
Deep within his heart,
His courage has frayed and splintered.
They walk side by side,
Between them, no words are spoken.
For he hides deep inside,
A promise never broken.
