Good Morning…. I pause because today’s topic…I can’t even believe I am lowering myself to talking about. I have heard many times the phrase that our country is being run my Monkeys. Case in point does that mean Uncle Sam is a Monkeys Uncle? Or the other way around? I have never heard of this next name before but perhaps you have. Mr. Adam Monk. Have you? I haven’t until this morning while coming into work on snowy ass roads and temps into the high teens. The conversation had turned to stock markets on the radio and who has bested the market four years running. Stock Market that is. You got it, Mr. Adam Monk is who. He has picked the three top area stocks four years running and he is an employee of the Chicago Sun Times newspaper. Normally hearing about a person who had done such a feat would surely be popular and receive many calls and questions how he does it. But, Adam doesn’t speak English. Well actually Adam doesn’t speak French, Russian or Italian either. His favorite foods include are normally fruits and vegetables so his picking of one stock this year to do well Fresh Del Monte Produce might be surely one reason. He has picked these stocks and is not rich by picking them either. Actually not rich, can’t speak any of those languages I mentioned and loves fruits and vegetables. Hmmm are we talking a machine? Nope, a Monkey. Mr. Adam Monk for short. Actually I figured Monkey was the short version, but what ever…So if this Senior Citizen Cebus Monkey can do that, hell why not ask him to pick out some world peace suggestions. Common Cold cures, Cancer Cures and World Hunger solutions. A Monkey…It comes down to selecting top producing stocks by a Monkey. I am wondering as you are just how this Monkey does it? Does he have a Monkey Crystal Ball? No…hmmm how about the SWAG way? (Scientific Wild Ass Guess) Perhaps…. Does he use the papers to potty on and then select those stocks in drop zone? I am 50 years old and said potty…. Hmmm, I also created a new term for using said bathroom “Drop Zone” but, and not the Monkey’s Butt either, where on earth is this heading and why? Because you know there are those out there that are looking for that golden morsel of knowledge, once obtained to get rich quick scheme just by figuring out the always unanswered question…”How can I become the next millionaire get rich quick scheme” all this done without robbing a bank. A Monkey…A stock picking lucky ass Monkey. Hell the Kentucky Derby is coming up soon…I wonder who he likes to win? Perhaps Street Sense, Horse Greeley or Great Hunter. All good picks. A Monkey. Well just for S & G (not Saving Grace either) I am going to select the horse that has anything to do with a Monkey and see, is this the year of the Monkey? Does the Chinese zodiac pick this year as the year of the Monkey? You would think as many times as I do Chinese food I would know that. Oh well. A Stock Market Monkey…I have heard it all now… Oh I so hope you enjoyed the pictures of Mandy and her sisters. Dads can say that about their daughters that make them proud. Because I have three. And, if you can’t tell by my tone and talk of them, then I am not painting a proper picture for you. Because I am.
