I'm a mature person with a lot of life experience. I mean, I'm silly too, but I'm mature. Hoping for the same.

I've somewhat recently gotten out of many years of stressful life as well as a long relationship. As far as relations with women, I'm here seeking friendly, casual, personal conversation, etc. Persons to be comfortable and loosen up with, to be myself with, go out with, and maybe even who want to push me to do things that I wouldn't usually do. If it helps to conceptualize it I can say that perhaps I would call it "frating." Friend dating. Casual dating - sex = this. This is where I think it should probably begin for now.

Between work and life I've had no social life for several years. I work from home (have my own business) so there is a dearth of human interaction. Not healthy for me I am finding. I'm making progress on changing that. You too can help!

My personality:

- I'm gentlemanly by my estimation, and can have a deep, personal conversation.
- I can give a great massage! Can use one too (hint...)
- I seem quiet or thoughtful to those I don't know, but am silly and very personal to those I call friends.
- Video: I like witty comedy, fantasy or adventurous action, and meaningful drama.
- Audio: I first moved to Chicago in 2005 as a rock vocalist and songwriter. I grew up hearing certain bands, and in my heart are still classic rock and alternative songs of the 90s. Aerosmith, Zeppelin, Smashing Pumpkins, STP, so many I'm sure. They were "songs of the times" for Gen. Xers like me. I don't listen to as much music these days to be honest, and not modern music if I do, but it used to be my lifeblood and I used to be a songwriter and rock musician. I have a passion for singing though so I may bust into a tune. I also like to hear kirtan (if you don't know what it is Google it).
- I do daily meditation on beads.
- I'm intellectual, and can be witty.
- A weird sense of humor, but can be funny.
- I'm a strict lacto-vegetarian, although you don't have to be. You have to respect what I'm doing though.
