He took her whole family to Canada, married her & had my grandfather, who came back to marry a Black woman. The "slave" was from Egypt, her family taken in Togo, where they treked to every 5 years, to trade.Her name? Zipporah, the name of Moses' wife. She spelled it Zippora. Yes the family was Jewish.
