Well... a little about myself. My name is Rick, and I am 23 years old and have 2 sons. They are 1 and 2 yrs old. They are my life and I love them to death. Im a Army Veteran. I enlisted at 17 yrs old and my MOS when I first went in was 19 Delta (Cavalry Scout). After graduation I was sent to Ft. Campbell until I volunteered for Airborne school. After going to Airborne school and graduating in Ft. Benning, I was ordered to my new unit... 1/17th Cav/82nd Airborne. About 3 yrs later I volunteered for Ranger school. I went to Ft. Benning and completed Rangwer School. I graduated with the class of 386th Rangers. I then went with the 75th Ranger Regiment/101st Airborne. I wanted to go above and beyond a soldier of my age and prove my worth and made my father proud. I then served the remainder of my time in the Army in Iraq until an unexpected problem arose... my knee had been blown out and my blood pressure was sky high and death was for sure imminent... I was sent to Walter Reed Hospital where I spent 3 weeks in the hospital. I was then sent to Ft. Lee, Richmond and placed in MedHold while I awaited further orders from my discharged. My papers were finally signed and I was out processed in Ft. Lee with a medical discharge.
