I was born in Providence,RI and was adopted as toddler. Our family moved to the south when I was very young. I hold degrees in exceptional education and public school administration. I have a consulting business on the side through which I do independent grant writing. People who know me say that I am a strong, yet sensitive person who enjoys spending time with family and friends. I find both the beach and the mountains to be places of great peace and contentment so I obviously go there as often as possible. I love the outdoors so I spend a great deal of time fishing, camping, gardening or cooking out with friends. I am enthralled with all the “new-fangled” technologies but I also like the simpler things in life...like good music, good food and good fellowship. While I do enjoy great music and dancing, I also like my quiet time. That is why I find great nourishment in relaxing with a good book, regardless of the title. My adventurous spirit has prompted me to cultivate a wide variety of interests including: motorcyle riding, fishing, golf, swimming, birdwatching, photography, painting and many more.
